Eli August to Release New CD With Release Party on Nov. 4th

Eli August (aka Jon Koschkoreck) will celebrate the release of his new full-length CD, Let This House Burn Slowly, on November 4th at the Brink Lounge.  The show starts at 9 PM and will feature accompaniment by Chris Wagoner, Mary Gaines and bassist Mike Darnell. there will also be some choreographed sections with two dancers. Cover is $6 and the show is expected to run about 90 minutes. be timely, there is no opening act.

The new album is an ambitious project (read the review here) that blends acoustic falternative folk with string instruments and some keyboards. It was recorded by jake Johnson at Paradyme Studios, Gates of Heaven and in Johnson’s living room.

You may know Koschkoreck from his previous work with his band fermata. Eli August is an extenuation of that style with the same personal, soul-baring and somewhat gothic lyrical style that fermata championed.
